That was excellent hotel set in lovely area, close enough to the town centre for a coffee in the afternoon and the Italian and Maderian restaurants, which were very good. It was in the central location, had extremely cheerful and brilliant staff from room maids through to management. Had supper enjoying drinks at nearby Hole in One.

The place was fairly clean and special, it had incredibly nice and consistently courteous staff from room maids through to management. The view of the ocean was magnificent, as well as central location close enough to a lovely coastal walk along the promenade towards the lido past numerous bars cafes and cable car. I randomly popped in Borracheiros Bar serving some pastries, located just a short stroll away from the hotel, it was nice.

The venue is reasonably large and fairly clean with a fantastic value and courteous and great staff. The prestige king room is terrific with the garden, gin, huge bed. The location is marvellous and stunning, 15 minutes' walk to Lido. The HOTel provides an excellent service. Every time we stay in Funchal, like to stay here.
Limited breakfast, it should definitely be improved.
